F.A.Q.

What do you do with the clothing?

We recycle it!

Primarily we focus on reuse by reselling marketable clothing through our retail and wholesale network, including our in house thrift store, Friperie Valois. We offer affordable good quality clothing and shoes to families on tight budgets, which is a valuable service in itself. This allows us to pay proceeds through our fund-raising programs.

We also keep a certain amount of clothing as part of a clothing bank that we make available to people in need located in the West Island.

Whatever we can't use for resale will be allocated to our partner company Certex Canada, a non-profit charity and the largest textile recycling company in Quebec. Certex specializes in employing individuals with intellectual and physical handicaps and recycles nearly 95% of all textiles they receive in one capacity or another.
